Timber specification requirements:
- Only fully square-edged timber must be processed.
- The thickness and width tolerances must not be larger than +/- 4 mm.
- The timber sweep must not be larger than 2 mm/m width-wise.
- The twist must not be larger than 2 mm/m length-wise.
- The quality of the timber surface must ensure that the timber pieces pass each other easily at the package shaper (rough-sawn possible, if the grooves are not too deep).
- There must not be any timber wane.
- There must not be any knots in the finger jointed area.
